Your local county councillor is the first point of contact for any local concerns. Councillors are elected to deal with issues such as housing, traffic, roads, local planning, waste management and the provision of community services.

Your local TD is a member of Dail Eireann. The main responsibility of your Dail deputy is to enact legislation. Although TDs are happy to deal with local issues, your first point of call should be with your local councillor.
